Last night, the award ceremony of the 3rd China & Italy Ceramic Design Award (Hereinafter referred to as CICDA) was successfully hosted by Italian Trade Commission (ICE), Association of Italian Manufactures of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics (ACIMAC) and Ceramic Town Weekly (CTW), in Foshan New Media Industrial Park.

This year, a total of 72 enterprises with73 products have participated in the competition, presenting very professional and high-end products according to the juries. The award ceremony has attracted more than 200 guests including product and interior designers, senior managers of ceramic enterprises and delegation of ICE, ACIMAC and Italian ceramic industry to witness this great event.

Moreover, Mr. Davide Conti, Designer and Project Manager of ADI China and Mr. Ruggero Baldasso, Director of RBA Architecture Design Studio gave professional speeches over the topic of 'Analysis on Italian Tile Design' and 'the Logic of Design' respectively.

In the end, the product of cement tile named ‘Yun (Dark)’ by Florina Ceramics has won the Award of Gold. Juries commented it as very impressive and beautiful product. Five companies, Overland Ceramics, Hongyu Group, Molon Ceramics, Romantic Ceramics and Dongpeng Ceramic have won the Award of Silver. Besides, Award of Technology and Award of Excellence were also presented while some companies were certified as Future Star. Congratulations to all these enterprises!

The 3rd CICDA is definitely an unforgettable and amazing experience for both Chinese and Italian ceramic industry.The event has created an atmosphere to stimulate the passion and ambition of Chinese ceramic enterprises to produce better products and pay more attention to the product quality.Mr. CTW is expecting better Chinese ceramic products  in the 4th CICDA next year to represent China and to surprise the world!
