Guangzhou Design Week (GZDW) has just ended on 29th November. For this edition, it covers an area more than 60,000㎡, which has five specific halls, including Interiors+Materials, N3+Design, Custom+User Experience, Living+Lifestyle. It is expected to attract 18,000 visitors.
As it serves as a multi-functional platforms - to integrate design and innovation into business opportunities, it has attracted more than 30 big ceramic brands attend the fair. Some of them are big names, including Eagle Ceramics, GANI Marble Tiles, BODE Ceramics, L&D Ceramics Brand, and etc.
So, whose ceramic tiles can win the favor of designers and distributors and professional visitors? Let’s have a look.
EAGLE 2086 CERAMICS
The theme of the stand is timeline, using different spaces with different styles to show 7 trends of rustic tiles in the future, such as modern simplicity, Chinese style and mix & match.
L&D Ceramics Brand
The stand exhibits the “BAUHAUS” series which features industrial style. It has 4 different surfaces. In the next year, the size of 900×1800(mm) will be launched.
It is funny to see that tiles can replace stone, wood, fabric, bamboo and leather.
GANI MARBLE TILES
The stand has been divided into several spaces and tried to interpret the theme of “Creation. Natural Beauty”. The tiles have been cut and matched well, which shows the esthetic beauty of tiles. The large tiles in 1620×3240(mm) is set for international buyers. In the stand, we can see that marble tiles can be used as table and creative decoration.
BODE
Ecos, the eco porcelain polished tiles in 900×1800(mm), is produced by the latest ink jet printing technology, which can create richer patterns.
INOL CERAMICS
It mainly shows glazed tiles in 900×1800(mm) and 300×800(mm), which have many different surface effects and can be used on floor and wall. The five divided spaces are in line with the concepts of Wu Xing(Chinese Five Elements): Water is for bathroom, Wood is for library, Huo is for kitchen, Earth is for dinning room, Gold is for reception room.
HOPE Ceramics
The 29°soft light 4.0 is the signature product with various sizes, like 900×900(mm), 600×1200(mm), 900×1800(mm). It has many concrete patterns, like space, nebula, bamboo and stone. It greatly enhances the sense of art.
Elizabeth Ceramics
It mainly shows mould tiles and marble tiles, which feature a simple style. The main size of the marble tiles is 600×1200(mm) which whiteness can reach 56°.
Florina Ceramics
The design theme of the stand is “Sense of Fine Cloud”, which is designed by the Rising Asian Talent, Shao Weiyan. The creative design makes the tiles “float”.
ICC Ceramics
The stand mainly shows terrazzo tiles, which sizes of the tiles are bigger than ever. Besides, the big granules of terrazzo make the stand more eye-catching. According to the general manager of ICC Ceramics, Humberto Valles, the designs of the stand tend to stimulate visitors’ senses and let them remember ICC Ceramics in the future. For example, there is a large LED screen and 2 machines used to spray perfume.
LOUVRE Ceramics
The stand mainly shows large scale tiles and soft light marble tiles. The resolution of soft light marble tiles can reach 440 dpi. It has different surfaces and 55°. The main large scale tiles is the one in 750×1500(mm). And the tiles in 900×1800(mm) serves as accessory.
ASA TILES
It mainly show large scale marble tiles and 55°soft light and rustic tiles. There are large tiles in 900×900(mm) and 600×1200(mm) and 900×1800(mm).
Tidiy Anion Tiles
The stand has a undertone with green color which symbolizes health and vitality. It is in line with the brand’s mission to produce healthy and environmental friendly products.
LA' BOBO
It has showed the tiles in 800×1400(mm) and the thin tiles which can kill bacteria. Its’ thin tiles has been used as closet and cupboard. It tends to increase the application of thin tiles on the furniture in the future.
PROXIMA
This is the first time that PROXIMA attends Guangzhou Design Week. The stand mainly shows us the tiles with some warm tone. The vice general manager, Liang Jie, said that PROXIMA wants to convey the theme- “warm luxury”.
MATI CERAMICS
The stand has been divided into two parts. One part is to show the product series designed by Xuemin Lin, the famous Chinese designer. This series could not be produced in large volume, but it can be customized. The other part is to show the product series designed by Roberto Cavalli, the famous Italian designer. It is worth noted that there is a glided tiles which is valued at 250,000yuan/㎡.
Think Home Ceramica
The style of the stand is simple. And it mainly show the tiles with 55° soft light. The usual sizes are 600×1200(mm), 800×1800(mm), 1200×2400(mm) and 1000×3000(mm). The huge wall made by 8 pieces of large tiles in 800×1800(mm).
DAULFIN
It shows personalized product- jeans tiles. Designers designed the copper accessories acting as zipper of jeans. Anyway, its cracked tiles are also attractive.
NINETY PLUS CERAMICS
The brand vision of NINETY PLUS CERAMICS is to decorate the home for the post 90-s. So, its target consumers are the young generation. Its tiles in 300×1200(mm) and the mould tiles are very special.
ROYAL TILES
The stand mainly shows the rustic tiles series. Each series have many colors and sizes. So, they can be mix & match easily.
BMI TILES
It mainly shows many tiles with 35°soft light, which have adopted the 3D ink jet technology, candy glaze technology and semi-polished technology and etc.
DELFONE
It shows the large scale tiles in 1600×3200×12(mm).
GARDENIA
It shows many wall tiles, which were designed and produced in Italy.
KOLA
It mainly shows rustic tiles and matt tiles and soft light tiles. The new series has used the mould, granule and mica.
