Backed in September 2017, Jinkarui Ceramics has installed a line for the large tiles in 900×900(mm). Later, many other brands also launched their large tiles, like Xinjingxiang Ceramics, Jingcheng Ceramics, Pujing Ceramics, Taiyang Ceramics and Jingsanjiao Ceramics. Anyway, most of their large tiles were in 900×900(mm)、600×1200(mm). Compared with the large tiles produced in Foshan, these large tiles are not large enough. In May this year, Fuligao Ceramics(belonged to New Zhongyuan Ceramics)launched the tiles in 1200×2400(mm) and it sparked the popularity of large tiles in Jiangxi. 

According to incomplete data to May, in Jiangxi, there are 6 companies which have the lines to produce large tiles in 900×900(mm)、600×1200(mm)  with a  daily capacity of 5000㎡-10000㎡.

It has been revealed that, Jinkarui Ceramics  is the first company which produce large tiles in Jiangxi production base. At the end of 2017, it launched the large tiles in 900×900(mm) and 600×1200(mm). Liu Jian, the manager of  Jinkarui Ceramics said, the company is devoted to be the top brand of producing large tiles in the base.

The chairman of Jingcheng Ceramics, Luo Laizu, said that, the company’s production line can produce the tiles in 600×31200(mm). And the production capacity can reach 8000-9000㎡/day. According to the general manager of Jingsanjiao Ceramics, Zhu Zhifeng, the company has a production line specialized in producing large tiles in 600×1200(mm). The daily production capacity can reach 15 million ㎡. Therefore, the large tiles are producing fast in the company.

Now, the wide kiln for thin plank of Fuligao Ceramics has went into operation. It can produce the large tiles in 900×1800(mm), 1000×2000(mm) and 1200×2400(mm). The production capacity achieves 10000 ㎡. Apart from the above companies that we mentioned, many other companies are also expecting to build their own production lines for large tiles to increase their market share. 

Some insiders shared their opinions with us. They said, the application of large tiles is challenged by the sales channels, application environment, consumers’ purchasing power and the level of service. Therefore, although the large tiles has already gained some popularity among producers, there is still a long way to go to push it to the end-market.
