A tile factory in Fujian caught fire

At eight o’clock in the morning of 22th July, a fire broke out in a tile factory in Sanban Town of Dehua County, which is located in Fujian province. According to local media reports, the fire was fierce. Therefore, Dehua Fire Brigade sent 4 fire engines and 28 firemen to put out the fire. It took firemen 2 hours to defuse the large fire.

It has been revealed that the factory has four floors. It was the ground floor and the nearby temporary shed that caught fire. When the firemen was on the scene, the shed was collapsed and the fire spread through the adjoining homes. Bedises, there were still some liquefied gas cylinders in the scene, which put the whole factory in critical condition.

So, the firemen acted swiftly. The investigators checked the adjoining homes to verify the burning area. The firemen used 3 water canoons to defuse the fire. After two-hour rescue, the fire was completely contained. And the liquefied gas cylinders were also moved to safe area.

It has been reported that, the shed had collapsed amid performance, which crushed a pipeline of a liquefied gas cylinder which was transporting the gas to the running kiln. 

Actually, summer normally sees the rising fire accidents in ceramic factories. Therefore, the staff of ceramic factories should pay extra attention to the fire accident and raise the awareness of security.
