At the beginning of 2021, numbers of leading ceramic enterprises were accelerating their expansion of production. Recently, D&O Home Collection announced an investment of 1.5 billion yuan to build 5 new production lines. In addition, Wonderful Group, Hongyu Ceramics, Dongpeng Ceramics, Nabel Ceramics, and White Rabbit Ceramics, etc., will also expand production in 2021.

D&O Home Collection announced an investment of 1.5 billion yuan to build 5 new production lines

On March 9, D&O Home Collection invested 50 million yuan in Shanxi Huizi New Material Co., Ltd. After the completion of the investment, Oceano Ceramics, a subsidiary corporation of D&O Home Collection, will hold 20% stock rights of Shanxi Huizi. In the next 3 years, Shanxi Huizi will build 5 production lines mainly for glazed polished tiles, with an estimated annual capacity of 55 million sqm.

What’s more, D&O Home Collection plans to publicly issue 6-year convertible corporate bonds with a total face value of 1.5 billion yuan,  which will be used for the construction of 5 ceramic production lines and replenishment of working capital. The total annual production capacity will increase by 41.11 million sqm. By the end of 2022, the ceramic capacity of D&O Home Collection will reach about 92.89 million sqm.

35 New Production Lines will be Built in China 

According to Jiangxi Daily, on February 18, Jiangxi Hemei Ceramics has started the project with an investment of 6.1 billion yuan, and the annual revenue will exceed 5 billion yuan after the project puts into operation.

On February 3, Hongyu Ceramics signed an agreement with the government of Teng County, Guangxi Province. Hongyu Ceramics plans to invest 2 billion yuan to build 12 production lines with an area of 2,600 acres, and the capacity of ceramic tiles will reach more than 132 million sqm.

On January 6, Dongpeng Ceramics announced that it will invest 5.08 billion yuan to complete the project of Intelligent Ceramic Home Industrial Park in Fengcheng, Jiangxi, which includes 9 intelligent sintered slab production lines and an annual capacity of 2.6 million pieces of intelligent sanitary ware and other projects.

On January 2, White Rabbit Ceramics held the foundation-laying ceremony in Hunan production base. According to information, the first phase project of Hunan production base has been investing of 1 billion yuan, covering an area of 709 acres. And 4 external wall tile production lines have been completed and put into operation. In 2021, White Rabbit Ceramics is going to invest an additional 1 billion yuan into the production project in Hunan, which will build 4 new ceramic tile production lines, and the first production line is expected to be completed and put into operation in June. After the completion of the two phases project, it will achieve an annual capacity of 45 million sqm, and an annual production value of 1.2 billion yuan.

According to local media reported on December 7, 2020, the second phase Ⅱ project of the Nabel Ceramics project in Jiujiang, Jiangxi will be completed in March 2022, with a total investment of 2.08 billion yuan. Five new ceramic production lines will be built, which will reach an annual production capacity of 35 million sqm.
