Chinese Ceramic Enterprise Marco Polo Applied For Listing, with An Operating Revenue of USD 1.40 Billion In 2021

Recently, Guangdong Jiamei Ceramics Co., Ltd. (referred to hereinafter as Jiamei), a Chinese ceramic enterprise, issued a prospectus (pre disclosure), raising 4.02 billion yuan (approximately USD 602.6 million) mainly for the construction of production bases.

On May 19, Jiamei issued a prospectus (pre disclosure), which proposed to publicly issue no more than 119 million ordinary shares. After the public offering, the total share capital of the company would not exceed 1.20 billion shares, raising 4.02 billion yuan (approximately USD 602.6 million). 


It is mainly used for the construction of production bases, including the intelligent upgrading and rebuilding of the production lines of its Guangdong and Jiangxi production bases, the new project of special high-performance ceramic material with an annual capacity of 5.4 million square meters, etc.


According to the prospectus, in 2021, the revenue of Jiamei  was 9.37 billion yuan (approximately USD1.40 billion), net profit was 1.70 billion yuan (approximately USD 248 million), and the gross profit margin of the main business was 43.09%.


In 2021, the annual output and total sales of Jiamei reached 200 million square meters. Among them, the production and sales rate of glazed tiles reached 94.62%, and the sales amount was 8.85 billion yuan (approximately USD1.33 billion).


By the end of 2021, Jiamei had 6,122 shops and among the 213 stores with more than 1,000 square meters.
